Gain a foundational introduction to key processes used in conventional machining and fabrication environments. Students explore the theory behind manufacturing methods and apply their knowledge through hands-on experience with hand tools and machine tools in a supervised shop setting. Emphasis is placed on safe and effective work practices, with safety serving as a continuous focus throughout all lab activities.
