Course Description

Breathe in. Open your eyes. Feel the earth beneath your feet. Connect with her. Listen to the birds, and breathe out with the rhythm of the trees. Step into a world of wellness rooted in wholism, where wellness is understood as a balance of the Physical, Mental, Emotional, and Spiritual. Explore health practices that honour Indigenous knowledge systems and promote resilience through the interconnection of land-based learning, movement, music, traditional medicines, and nourishing foods. Discover strategies to reduce stress and support overall wellbeing. While stress may not directly cause illness, it activates molecular shifts that increase vulnerability to disease. By engaging with these practices, you will learn to restore balance and Mino-Bimaadiziwin (living the good life). The longest path you will walk is from your head to your heart (Michael White). Let’s walk together.
